Grandma and Grandpa Chavez visit Durham

My parents were just here in Durham, and we had a good time visiting the city and surrounding areas. We went to Danville, VA, where my sister and her husband used to live, as well as drove on the Blue Ridge Highway and visited Mount Airy and Greensboro, NC. We also saw the Greco to Velazquez Spanish art exhibit at the Nasher at Duke, as well as toured that campus and saw a good amount of UNC and Chapel Hill, too. It was good for Simone to see her grandparents again, and it was nice of them to give Kyla and I a break and some greatly needed free time as well. We'll see them again in Spain this summer, and maybe later in Albuquerque if we can go there in 2009.
Here are a few photos from their visit, and the rest can be seen at our Picasa page here.
